Using an InBody for Body Composition Analysis?
Like with most things - consistency is key.
Bio-electrical impedance measures how current flows through your body and this is impacted by anything water related. This means your nutrition, hydration and exercise can impact results - not just that day but also in the days before.
If you can’t weigh first thing in the morning, weigh at the same time of day each time you do
Weigh before exercise - not after
Keep a food diary for the day +1 or 2 before, so you can repeat food and drink each time
Go to the loo before
Don’t drink alcohol the night before, or lots of caffeine beforehand
Build up a picture with a stringent process of repeat measures over time
