FAQ’s
Here are some of the most common questions I get asked
-
This is a short 10-15 minute phone call for you to ask me any questions or to get more of a feel for who I am and how I can help, before you commit to booking an appointment. It’s free of charge and comes with no obligation. Click here to book your call

I’m based online and hold face to face clinics in Cirencester, Gloucestershire and in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. Face to face clinics are a held at Catalyst Training and at the Courtyard Clinic. Home visits are available in some circumstances. I travel for corporate talks and on-site consultations. Drop me an email to make a location related enquiry or for home-visit fees.
-
This depends on both your location and personal preference, as there can be pros and cons to both. We can discuss this in a discovery call if you would like.
-
I will send a pre-consultation form to you by email ahead of your appointment that you will need to complete (please let me know if you have any accessibility needs). I might ask you to complete a food journal before your appointment depending on the content of your online form. I will also invite you to share any relevant and recent test results with me if you have them – such as cholesterol levels, blood pressure, or your HbA1C.
-
When you book you receive a pre-consultation form that sets the scene. Then, in your consultation, we explore where you are now, and what to do next. There will be a lot of opportunity to ask questions, and together we work out a plan. All of the key points are summarised for you in a document afterwards which is normally available a few days after the appointment.
-
Bring a drink and wear something comfy. Make a note of any questions you want to ask to bring with you and either your phone or a pad and pen in case there are some notes you want to jot down.
-
There will be no judgement - I want help. There’s not a lot I haven’t already seen or heard when it comes to food and nutrition. And I’m not going to try to make you eat things you don’t like, either.
-
Consultations usually last up to 75 minutes. Follow up appointments can be either 25 or 45 minutes.
-
I accept online transfers, online card payments, and at appointment card payment. Invoices are usually sent out to you at time of booking.
-
Yes, I can support you if you are trying to get pregnant, are pregnant, or have recently been pregnant. There is a screening process we need to go through first to make sure the support I offer is going to right for you and your baby, so please be sure to mention this when you first get in touch with me.
-
This depends on a lot of different things. If you would like meal planning to be a part of the service that you receive from me please mention this when booking so that I can go through options with you in advance. There is usually and additional fee for this service that depends on the level of programming that you require.
